Thank you very much for this useful article. The instructions on other sights about how to make a toga ended up making me look like Ginger from Giligan's Island, and I am a boy!
wow. thank you so much, very very useful. I'll pass it on my friends :) I'm a portuguese university student and we wear a very gorgeous costume. Google it: "Traje Academico". Thank you again
This is the most helpful and complete guide to making a toga I've found online! Really fantastic! I want my husband and I to go as Bacchus and a nymph for Halloween this year, and I knew we could make his costume no problem, but all the other instructions I found for making a toga just used bed sheets! Yuck! This is really great and I am sure will look MUCH better! Thank you so much!
I love hosting toga parties for family and friends. I just find them great fun. Sometimes they turn out to be relaxed affairs but more often than not they just end up wild! It seems, that for some strange reason, whenever you get a group a people together, put them in a toga, they just become, well, 'primeval'. I have to say that my toga parties have always been a great way of getting to know people - they really seem to break down barriers - who can have hang-ups dressed in just a piece of cloth!
After one of my toga parties, someone will always call on me the next day to ask how to make a toga the 'correct way', and how do I think up some of my outfits - but hey let me tell you there is nothing to it - its just a piece of fabric and a lot of imagination!
If your looking for ideas and tips, or just simply curious about how to make a toga then read on!
This my Athenian Goddess Costume. It is my staple if I don't have time to create my own toga - sexy but not too revealing - perfect!
One of Terry's favorites!
My Blonde Athenian Goodess Wig. I love wigs, they save time having to mess around fixing your own hair. This one brings out the siren in me.
My foxy Brunette Athenian Goodess Wig - well a girl needs to have options!
I am always hot to trot in my Roman Sandals with a difference!
